The Label Junkie was invited by NUS Business School to take part in a fashion week bazaar and to showcase our outfits in a fashion show held at NUS Central Forum! It was the very first time TLJ has a flea booth and it was fun! Spent a lot of time and effort to prepare for the bazaar, from ironing all the clothes, to stock taking, to packing, to lugging everything there and back twice! Thankfully my mum (photographed above) helped out, if not I wouldn’t have been able to do it all alone! It was a very tiring two days but it was great meeting the girls there and we hoped that you girls scored some awesome stuff from both us and the other great booths! Thank you NUS business fashion week committee for extending the invite to us, great deal of effort went into preparing for the whole entire fashion week and they did a great job! Looking forward to our next flea! :)
I’ve been meaning to change The Label Junkie site’s main banners for a long time. I get sick of things pretty quickly and with CNY long over, it was definitely time to the previous banners down! Been trying to find time for an outdoor shoot to fill the site with pretty pics once again, but I’ve been so busy lately, hopefully this simple series of photos suffice! Pieces featured are mainly my personal favorites, some already on the site, some coming right up, so stay tuned! :)
The Label Junkie was recently invited to participate in the NUS Fashion week and will have a booth at the fashion bazaar at NUS Central Forum from Thursday 20 Jan, to Friday 21 Jan, 12-5pm! We’ve quite a number of unreleased items only available at our bazaar store at 10% off! As well as lots of huge bargain deals, think 1 for $14, 2 for $24! Super cheap! There’ll also be a runway show on Friday 6pm where the NUSSU Pageant candidates will strut their stuff in our very own TLJ outfits! Do drop by if you’re in the area, remember to say hi! :)

Some of my favorite shots from the outdoor shoot for The Label Junkie the other day! Figured its about time I changed the main page banners. :)
On the very last weekend before the Bukit Timah Railway Station closed for good, we decided to make a trip down for some photo taking both for fun and for The Label Junkie! Apparently, the whole world decided to as well so it was packed! It’s such a pity though. The pictures will definitely be SO MUCH better without the crowd. Also, I would have preferred to style the photoshoot better with heavier make up, hair accessories, shoes & props. But I didn’t wanna stick out like a crazy fella amongst the mad crowd so I had to keep it simple. :( Anyway, here’s just a few of my favorite shots that day. We took much more, including the station, the train and its knick knacks but I thought it should be separated into another post. :) All outfits featured will be up soon on The Label Junkie!
